This recipe is awesome!! We all loved it, even my 1-twelvemonth old. (I did cutting back on the hot pepper sauce). I put the chili pulverisation (and a trivial less) into the sauce and used a mix of ii% and one% milk. I used more pasta too, probably 2.v cups and I could have used more, just I similar an extra cheesey, saucey sauce opposed to a drier sauce. We had broccoli with this and spooned some of the extra sauce over that. I used radiatore pasta in this and it was wonderful. Shredded my own parm, used Tillamook Pepperjack and Tillamook Extra Precipitous Reserve White Cheddar cheese. Used a fleck extra of all the cheeses. LOVED it!!! I used crushed garlic croutons in place of bread crumbs and butter. We couldn't get enough. I will brand this again.

I made this this night every bit a test for a dinner party next weekend. 1. I used 2% instead of whole milk. Do not do this equally it breaks and makes for a chalky texture. 2. I used pepper cheddar instead of pepper jack since I had it on hand; probably no significant difference. three. The pasta amount is definitely a typo. I used more than like 2.5 cups. 4. Personally, the hot sauce oestrus level was fine or also low, but I did not dearest the vinegar aspect it added. Adjacent fourth dimension I volition do a combo of jalapenos and cayenne. 5. I will add together more mustard adjacent time and mix the chili pulverization into the sauce. half-dozen. I added parmesan to the staff of life nibble/butter mixture and melted in the microwave instead of in a pan. Worked beautifully and saved me a dish to wash. Overall, this is a really good recipe. I may simply have a piggy hubby, but eight servings is debatable.

Hyperpuppy, I bow to your cooking genius. How I wish I could requite this one ten stars. It is that good, folks. If you lot like traditional condolement food with a big twist, this is your ticket right hither. I added some Oscar Mayer salary bits. For my own personal tastes the side by side time I make this, I volition add together another 1/2 loving cup milk. I will also add the chili pulverization to the cheese mixture. I think I tasted besides much chili powder. Otherwise this is my favorite recipe from this webstie.
03/21/2005
This is crawly mac & cheese! I made it for our grouping of adult friends and they've requested it again and again. I use 1 box of pasta, thinking the i 1/two cups of pasta on the recipe must be a typo.
06/12/2008
This was amazing - the compliment I got was "steakhouse worthy". I did employ i% and 2% milk instead of whole, and I left off the nibble topping and instead put a little extra cheese on tiptop (left off the extra butter and added the red pepper to the mac). Towards the finish of the blistering, I turned on the broiler to become a nice brown/crispy layer. Had great flavour and will DEFINITELY make once again!
12/thirty/2007
I thought this recipe came out Really dry. After second thought, I'm not actually sure why the baking fourth dimension was and then long--I recall that's what stale out the cheese. Kinda disappointing texture later seeing the cracking reviews. Next time, I'll add alot more cheese and cook less because I did actually love how spicy information technology was.
07/23/2008
As I'thousand eating leftovers for the 3rd day in a row on this 1, I take to say, this was delicious. I accidentally doubled the mustard, but it however turned out peachy, and I did utilize a whole box of pasta later seeing the reviews and noting how much sauce I had. Succulent. I'm on the mission to create the perfect mac & cheese, then I'll go on experimenting, but this was a perfect start to me and I'm pumped to use some of the ingredients hither. Also - I used a combo of panko and italian breadcrumbs for the topping. Delish!
x/15/2007
This makes an splendid modify from basic mac&cheese. I used well-nigh 3/iv of a box of elbow macaroni, so cut the hot sauce down to 1 teaspoon and added a can of Rotel tomatoes to compensate...yum! This reheats well with an extra splash of milk. Side by side time I'll get out off the breadcrumbs since I don't think that really added annihilation, and throw in some ground beef for a consummate meal.
09/21/2001
Great variation on the regular mac n'cheese. I was actually surprised that my kids liked it, fifty-fifty though it was somewhat spicy. And adults loved it.
11/04/2004
Loved it! Information technology'due south a keen spin on one of my favorite comfort foods!!! I substituted cayenne pepper for the hot sauce b/c (surprisingly !!!) I was all out!!!!
02/01/2011
This was a prissy twist on regular mac and cheese! The spice in the sauce was actually good and the chili pulverisation mixed in the bread crumbs was a nice compliment. I made the recipe equally is except I used a one lb box of elbow macaroni and increased the pepper jack to 1-ane/two cups. I'll definitely make again.
12/xxx/2010
is it me? I fabricated this as the recipe said, I did not care for this mac and cheese. Gritty, likewise much vingery gustation from the hot sauce. i won't be making this again, ever
11/15/2010
Totally yummy....such a elementary tasty recipe. Will definitely make this again.
12/27/2010
Actually 4 ane/2, simply that's not an option. I've been searching for the perfect mac northward'cheese recipe for Twelvemonth. This recipe is Near perfect. I'one thousand still searching for a Creamy mac and cheese and haven't found information technology yet, merely the flavors in this one are perfect!
06/03/2010
Very expert gimmicky foundation for mac and cheese I used a good White Cheddar a purse of fresh green peas topped with bread crumbs and fresh bright tomato and some fresh Hatch Green Chilies then broiled until Golden Dark-brown
x/04/2010
Awesome flavor, super rich.... WAY Too MUCH SAUCE, either one-half the liquids/sauce ingredients or double your pasta. (Plus yellow mustard worked out fine as a sub for dry mustard)
02/28/2011
I usually don't rate recipes because I change them then much, but made this last night it was wonderful, like things with a boot to it. Did utilise panko breadstuff crumbs and ceyanne pepper for the topping. Volition brand again.
08/23/2010
Very tasty. Used Monterey Jack instead of Pepper Jack ... still had a prissy bite. Used mix of ii% milk and not-fat evap. I was concerend by the small amount of macaroni used...it worked out, only wonder what would happen if I used twice equally much (without doubling the sauce...).
01/20/2011
Actually good and I mix up Kielbasa slices into information technology and then its that much ameliorate
09/07/2010
I used macaroni (most two cups cooked) and soy milk. I was worried it would exist as well hot/spicy, then I cut down on the pepperjack (3/4ths cup with the remaining 1/4th beingness more shredded cheddar) and the hot sauce (about ii teaspoons). I recommend using the total amount of both. It was delicious and a hit with the guys!!
02/16/2011
Finally mac & cheese with season. Did a couple of subs: used i T of dijon instead of dry mustard; used panko instead of regular bread crumbs; & did 1 C mexican iv-cheese mix & 1 C shredded cheddar jack. Turned out perfect!
04/15/2010
This was very good, only not spicy enough to set information technology apart from my regular macaroni and cheese, even though I also added cayenne pepper to the cheese mixture. Adjacent time I volition add diced jalapenos to the mix.
10/29/2010
Great recipe! Used a whole box of rotini and worked perfect. Very creamy and dear the spice. A lilliputian crispy bacon on the top and WOW. Thank you for sharing!
eleven/27/2010
I took this recipe and changed a few things and it turned out astonishing! I used 2 tsp of dry mustard, doubled the hot sauce and used double cayenne instead of chili pulverisation since I didn't accept whatsoever. I also didn't have pepper jack so I used double the abrupt cheese and parmesean. Then something my family uses for topping is ritz crackers crumbled instead of staff of life crumbs. Information technology was pretty good for my kickoff time!
04/fifteen/2010
I made this last night for a dinner with my friends, and everyone really enjoyed information technology. I did change it a scrap. When I mixed everything together, it was very soupy, and so I boiled about 3/4 to 1 cup more of pasta to add, and that was perfect! I too left off the breadcrumbs, and I used i.5 cups of pepper jack and 1 loving cup of cheddar. Will make this i again!
10/24/2010
I'm not sure why this got such amazing reviews. We love spicy nutrient only the gustation was just awful. Non a expert flavor at all... especially the breadcrumbs on top... just terrible. Nosotros didn't end up eating it. :(
03/xvi/2011
Yep, this is a gooder. I used all cheddar (two kinds I had on hand) and as well used ii cups of elbow macaroni instead of the rotelle pasta. Worked great. The blistering actually fabricated the whole dish come together. Information technology wasn't too spicy for my two year erstwhile.
x/xi/2010
Well Hyperpuppy, you sure made a few guys quite happy with this recipe! Honestly, other than adding my usual garlic and onion powders, I actually didn't change much of anything. My just addition was to cover the top of the casserole with shredded cheese before the bread crumbs went on. Hey, you can't go plenty cheese correct! Cheers a agglomeration!
05/eighteen/2010
It was very good. I wasn't a fan of the chili pulverisation topping. It tasted like I was eating spoonfuls of the spice. A little besides overboard. The cheese sauce was kicked upward enough. If I make it over again, I won't put that on at that place.
05/08/2010
pretty skillful twist on an all time favorite comfort food! Thanks for the recipe, I followed it completely - except I used cavatappi instead of rotelle.
03/14/2011
Was a good recipe, but as noted needed a bit more sauce. I reserved a fleck of the pasta water and used that. The topping was swell with the chili pulverisation! I'll arrive again.
03/07/2010
very spicy
06/26/2011
It seems like the taste is good merely I'k not certain if it'south me or the cheese used but I made this twice and information technology wasn't as creamy as I would accept liked and actually broke down a lilliputian.
03/09/2011
Great receipe. I did add in some (to your taste) onion flakes and 2 tblsp granulated garlic., equally well every bit for extra kick 2 teaspoons carmine pepper flakes. It has an unbelievable cheese taste. Too it did not put bake it or add the staff of life crumbs or chili powder in. Cheers for posting.
03/22/2011
Wow! Excellent. I employ red pepper instead of pepper sauce every bit reviewers suggest...but otherwise its perfect!!!
09/27/2009
This is actually awesome recipe. I only made it and I ate close to one-half of the dish (I am sure this makes more than than 2 servings...). The only reason I didn't devour it all is because I want to have it once more tomorrow, and I used upward my ingredients already. I used most 2 to 2 1/4 cups of elbow macaroni. As for the chili, I used sriracha very liberally (4-5 tsp), as well every bit calculation some cayenne pepper (I like things spicy). At the last second I found out my cheddar is unusable, then instead I used 12 oz pepper jack + four oz smoked gouda + i/ii loving cup parmesan instead. Information technology was delicious! I think I like the pepper jack + smoked gouda combo even more than than the cheddar + pepper jack. I figured since smoked gouda is a bit denser than the regular supermarket cheddar this gives to virtually the right corporeality. I sprinkled some bread crumbs too though I thought they weren't necessary - the dish is rich plenty every bit it is and baking will give a top layer a nice crunch anyways. Definitely my favorite mac&cheese recipe and then far. The texture and creaminess is perfect. This pretty much beats whatsoever of the other ones I've had, including at the eating place (helped by meridian-quality smoked gouda). Will definitely make this again, and will try out with different cheese combos.
01/17/2010
This was really, really proficient. I made a double recipe for a church potluck and it was gone right abroad! The merely thing I did dissimilar was to apply Havarti with Jalapenos instead of the pepper jack since I already had information technology in the house. I don't think information technology made a big difference though
02/17/2010
Bang-up "kicked upwards" flavor. I didn't care for the breadstuff crumb mixture on top, side by side time I'll go out it off and just sprinkle with the chili pulverisation. Even my Kraft Mac&Chesse loving kids liked this - merely don't call information technology Mac&Cheese, in our firm this is called "yellowish pasta". Also, didn't have the wagon wheel pasta, used rigatoni instead - worked out great.
07/eighteen/2011
This was delicious! I used Dijon instead of dry mustard for more flavor. Would be neat with jalepenos and bacon for even more flavor.
03/28/2011
Astonishing! I added smoked turkey sausage to make it an entrée. Will definitely make again.
04/07/2010
This was delicious! My hubby loved it! I didn't add together the chili pulverization considering I was afraid information technology would exist as well spicy, but I feel like it would be the perfect amount, side by side fourth dimension I will not leave information technology out.
07/12/2011
I liked information technology, but my boyfriend isn't sold on information technology. I did cut it in one-half and was less than precise in measuring. Nosotros both thought it was dry, and I idea it had lots of peppery taste, just not enough cheese gustation. IF I get in once more, I will make a full amount of cheese sauce for half the corporeality of pasta. Plus I'll add together more cheddar cheese. Simply I won't carp making information technology for my beau!!
06/12/2011
A big striking. I don't eat everything I melt (and mac and cheese is one of those things), but I have fabricated this many times for picnics and modest dinners, and it's ever a hit. My daughter, away at college, actually chosen me to get this recipe... and that's a start! She's not much into cooking nevertheless, merely she and her roommates wanted to make mac/cheese, and she remembered this recipe! My compliments to the chef!
03/14/2010
Totally crawly! Anybody at the christmas party (in New Orleans) LOVED it!
06/28/2011
I can finally accept mac'n cheese again! My husband said ordinary mac'northward cheese was besides apathetic, and wouldn't take information technology, only he loved this. It's great condolement nutrient, and I share this with lots of people.
eleven/25/2011
Please help i dont know what i'm doing wrong. I melted 2tbs butter and whenever i add together the 1/4 cup of flour information technology just turns into little balls of dough. I tried increasing the amount of butter to 4tbs and it was a lilliputian better only the consistency was almost "grits" like. What am I doing wrong??
10/06/2010
Deeeeee-licious!!!!! I made it as stated and my bf wouldn't let me give leftovers to the dog.
12/21/2009
Good! Even my kids loved information technology. No rotelle, and so I used elbow macaroni. No dry mustard so I used a tbsp. of dijon. I doubled the pepperjack and made my own breadcrumbs. I cut back on the hot sauce in the whole dish merely I did add together more to my own when I served information technology. Kicked up indeed. I like! Note: This thickened upward A LOT while sitting which wasn't a big bargain for me simply if a thicker sauce isn't your bag, you might want to add just a little more milk to your sauce. It could be because I doubled the cheese, too.
11/17/2011
Quite proficient. I like my nutrient really spicy, then adjacent fourth dimension I remember I would double or fifty-fifty triple or fifty-fifty quadruple the spices.
12/30/2011
This is crawly! I used cheese from realmilkcheese.com
03/31/2011
This is the third homemade mac and cheese recipe I accept made and have non cared for. The texture only throws me off. I utilise quality cheese and grate information technology myself then I have no idea what I'one thousand doing wrong. Possibly I'grand only not meant for it! Judge I'm just gonna stick to the box!
10/03/2007
It was a good change to the typical mac northward' cheese. Like other reviewers, I found that the sauce could accomodate a full box of pasta. Tasted practiced warmed upwards the adjacent day too.
03/09/2002
I really did not care for this. I love pepper jack cheese. However, I did not think information technology made a good mac and cheese.
06/05/2011
This was delicious. I followed the recipe pretty much as it's written. I did employ a whole box of pasta though. As some users mentioned, I call back it could do without the breadcrumbs, because I really don't think it added much season wise. I did put some extra cheddar over the top. Delicious!
08/23/2011
WOW! I tripled this recipe for a potluck, used Panko instead of staff of life crumbs, deleted the hot pepper sauce and added Cayene Pepper to the crumbs instead. I thought I fabricated plenty to enjoy leftovers for a while, but it was all gone. Many people commented this was the best Mac and Cheese they e'er had.
05/21/2011
I fabricated some variations based on what I had bachelor. Here is my version: Ingredients: 2 cups elbow pasta 4 tablespoons butter, divided ane/4 cup all-purpose flour 3 cups skim milk (fresh from local farm) 1 teaspoon dry mustard i/2 teaspoon salt one/2 teaspoon basis white pepper 1/iv - i/2 teaspoons ground cayenne pepper 1/4 cup shredded mild blue cheese one 1/2 cups shredded white LIVAROT or something very similar to this. (ripped off the characterization and can't retrieve the name, simply it is considered a stinky cheese and has a mild flavor. Or Havarti will work, but you'll have to cut it up considering it'southward too soft to shred.) 1/2 cup grated five yr aged GRUYERE 1 medium clove chopped shallot 1/three cup chopped onion 1-3 cloves garlic ane teaspoons footing cayenne pepper Directions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Cook pasta until al dente; bleed. In a pocket-size saucepan melt 2 tablespoons butter, add in shallots, onions and garlic simmer until caramelized. Once caramelized stir in one tsp cayenne powder. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Whisk in flour and melt, stirring, 1 minute. A little at a time, whisk in milk, mustard, common salt, pepper and hot sauce. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring constantly. Eddy 1 minute, then remove from oestrus and whisk in shredded cheeses until shine. Stir in cooked pasta and pour into shallow 2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle shallot mixture over macaroni mixture. Bake in preheated oven 30 minutes. Permit stand ten minutes earlier serving.
12/01/2008
Used Whole Wheat flour (trying to go away from the bleached flours) and it originally turned out soupy. Used Rotini pasta, considering that was all I had. Had to double the pasta, just other than that, actually adept. Could utilize something for crunch, like peppers. Will make over again!
12/27/2011
This was my first endeavor and triumph at making mac n cheese! Everyone loved it! I did cut back on the hot sauce; added 1 tsp instead of three. I honey spicy food so for adjacent time I'll have to brand a seperate batch with all three tsp!
01/12/2009
This recipe was very good! I felt there was way too much cheese compared to the amount of pasta information technology called for so I ended up boiling more for a total between 2 and ii 1/4 cups. I didn't have parmesan so I ended upwards using romano instead. I also threw in some diced tomatoes which added a bit of extra flavour. Next time volition as well throw in some diced chilis. Overall, very good! Will definitely brand once again!
05/02/2002
I brought this to work for a potluck, and it was gone in minutes! Delish!!
07/31/2009
admittedly loved this recipe. my family unit doesnt love spice so they thought information technology would be better sans the crazy hottness. but I loved it as is.
03/08/2012
Fabulous.. will laissez passer on recipe... soooooooooo proficient, thanks for posting
01/xvi/2008
I expected a whole lot more than from this dish. I used just over two c of medium size beat out pasta, and in that location was still not enough pasta to go with the corporeality of sauce. The sauce was spicy simply it got clumpy rather chop-chop which bummed me out. I left of the breadcrumbs (based on some other reviews) and I don't think information technology would accept made a difference either way. Perhaps if I freshly shredded all of my cheeses (I only shredded the pepperjack... the cheddar and parmesan were pre-shredded) I might non take had clumping issues?
03/xi/2008
Really swell mac and cheese in a more than "adult" style. Nosotros really kicked upward the spice, and it was a huge potluck striking.
03/03/2009
This was a smashing baked mac and cheese. I did increase pasta to 3 cups. The casserole was creamy with the promised kick. Not dry at all. Excellant!
09/22/2006
This was OK. I used 2 & 3/4 cups macaroni elbows. (Definitely need to add more pasta than what is suggested.) If I had to do it over, I would omit mixing the chili powder with the breadcrumbs...not because it is as well spicy either. Leftovers tasted skillful.
05/xiii/2009
Delicious! I switched a few ingredients since I didn't have them on mitt, but the end result was definitely a spicier version of mac and cheese and I loved information technology! And then much better than the bland versions and I'll definitely make it again.
04/11/2009
I fabricated this for dinner concluding night and boht my (some what picky) married man and I loved information technology! The but affair that I changed was that I did non cook the butter to add to the bread crumbs at the end, I just sprinkled bread crumbs & chili powder on the top before baking. Great recipes! We will make again! Married man even thinks its improve than the Twisted Mac N Cheese he orders at difficult stone.
02/17/2009
LOVED this recipe. I did utilize regular pepper and whatever noodles I had on manus and instead of mixing the parmesan in the cheese sauce, i merely mixed it with the breading for the top. We LOVED information technology! Best mac and cheese I have ever had!
01/09/2003
This recipe came out really nicely. Next time I make it, I'll probably add a bit more than to the spice (I'one thousand a spicy foods kinda guy), and will probably leave out the bread crumbs. Other than that, magnifique!
08/19/2009
My fiance and I both enjoyed this recipe very much, we too put the chili powder in the sauce mixture and establish information technology meliorate. A nice variation to a traditional classic!
02/03/2012
pretty decent...the breadstuff crumbs and the Parmesan cheese i felt make the texture a bit grainy and i didnt care for that...
11/25/2011
tin can someone help me out hither? 1 i/2 cup due south rotelle pasta? i simply used iv cups= 8oz and not sure that's enough.
03/30/2008
I was beginning to lose faith in this site until I stumbled upon this recipe. Information technology was GREAT! I did non have whatever problem with it being too dry as some people did, it was perfect, it even reheats well. I added hamburger meat seasoned with onion, garlic, and chili powders and I really thought it added an extra kick. I also upped the hot sauce and added a dash of cayenne pepper to the cheese sauce. I recommend Non omitting the chili powder/ staff of life crumb topping every bit it fabricated a nice crunchy coating which really is the final touch to this wonderful dish. Cheers then much, will definitely be making this time and fourth dimension again!!
02/12/2010
I'm surprised how many people found this to be besides spicy. It actually isn't. I bet it would be great with some diced onion and tomato. I'll make it again.
11/23/2009
Delicious! fifty-fifty without the crumb topping and cutting dorsum slightly on the hot stuff.
ten/21/2008
Smashing! I left out the hot sauce, take kids, only did everything else pretty much the same. I used 16oz box of elbows, and it was perfect for the amount of sauce. I used cheddar and colby jack cheese, all I had, with the parmesan and didn't have any clumping problems. Tasty. Definitely make it once more! Thanks!
07/22/2009
The best Mac and Cheese recipe I have ever tried. The touch of spice was really adept. I'll be making this once again, even my kid liked it.
11/03/2008
Keen creaminess and overall texture. The flavor was well worth it too.
05/12/2009
A bit dry out but very proficient
09/07/2007
Love this! I've fabricated it many times and have establish that whichever type/brand of hot sauce yous use will really change the last taste. It's been fun to experiment with.
01/23/2005
It was really good!! I added some chopped jalepenos and it was superb....spicy but subtle. Also i felt in that location was too much cheese to mac ratio, so i added another one/2 cup of macaroni. Delish!
06/29/2012
Heck aye. Only I went more than bad and subbed cheddar for Mango Fire Cheddar. Information technology went over beautifully.
07/23/2012
The first time I made this my roux looked like a ball of dough, rather than a smooth buttery paste. That'southward when I noticed the roux proportions were off: roux should exist one part flour to ane function butter. 1/four cup of flour = 4 tbsp flour, then you should be using four tbsp butter. The ingredients do list four tbsp butter, but then the directions encourage, "melt 2 tablespoons butter, whisk in flour" and reserve the remaining two tbsp butter for the topping later on on. Wrong! So! My second get, I used iv tbsp flour, 4 tbsp butter, on medium low to go the overnice polish paste. I substituted shredded Gruyere for the sharp cheddar (didn't have whatever on hand) and skipped the butter/breadcrumb/chili powder topping birthday. I also skipped the baking considering I wanted a creamy, hot, stovetop version. Thought the sauce concluded up a bit banal (I like hot) and runny, so I mixed in well-nigh 1 tbsp of the chili powder I ignored earlier and a petty Worcestershire, plus a bit more Sriracha. Allow it sit over medium heat without stirring to thicken it up for a few minutes, then I dumped the creamy sauce all over my pot of cooked elbows and stirred. OH GOD, now that was good. Minus a star for the roux.
02/10/2012
Wish I could requite a three and a half, information technology was good and something different, only didn't knock my socks off. It took a lot of fourth dimension to brand and it tasted the best correct out of the oven. Since there's simply three of us, we had a ton left over, and unfortunately it didn't reheat really smashing. The texture was a lilliputian grainy instead of smooth. It was worth trying, but I'm going to keep looking for a favorite homemade mac north' cheese recipe... this one wasn't correct for me. I'm bummed because I was excited to try it!
01/01/2009
Wonderful. Another crowd pleaser in a family of 5 with varied taste.
09/21/2008
I idea this was good. I didn't follow the recipe exactly so my rating might exist higher had I done and then. I used ii cups of macaroni, 2 teaspoons of hot pepper sauce, and 1 teaspoon of chili pulverization. I also but had regular jack cheese, but I added some diced jalapenos. I put the pasta in the casserole dish and poured the sauce over it. I reserved about 3/4 of a loving cup of sauce considering the 2 qt. casserole dish was very full. When I reheat the leftovers I will employ the leftover sauce.
02/18/2008
This was a really good alternative to the regular mac and cheese recipes. I did as other reviews suggested and added more noodles (almost three cups) and followed the recipe every bit stated. I did omitt the bread crumbs. I did follow another reviewers suggestion and added a pound of basis beef cooked with onion, garlic, and seasoning common salt. Combined the beef, macaroni, and cheese sauce in a goulash dish, sprinkled the balance of the pepper jack cheese on top and broiled for nigh 20 min. This took me about the same about of time to cook some hambuger helper, and information technology was much tastier. I will be calculation this onto my quick weekdays meal list.
01/25/2008
Next time I will use almost 1/two box of pasta, and peradventure only 1/ii cup of pepper jack + 1/2 loving cup of monterey jack. very easy, will definitely exercise again.
02/04/2010
Good stuff! Little bit of a boot! My one year old loved it! Cracking for kids and adults alike!
05/02/2012
This was fantastic with a tiny modifications. Instead of using hot pepper sauce, I cooked ii jalapenos with some ham and added it to the sauce just earlier adding the pasta. But delicious. A must try!
02/02/2010
Very tasty, but was quite soupy. Will reduce milk the side by side time. And yes, there volition exist a next time!
02/29/2012
This is absolutely a neat recipe, flossy and very tasty. The best I have ever made, I just made a couple of changes in the type of cheeses I used. I used asiago cheese and a piffling swiss and the cheddar.
06/03/2012
Great recipe! I made the recipe merely as written and we all loved information technology. We really enjoyed the little zing from the pepper jack and the hot sauce
01/28/2014
This was crawly, I followed the recipe exactly except that I used skim milk instead of whole. Turned out cracking.
02/13/2001
And so yummy, I'k hooked!!
05/25/2012
Really great as is! Perfect amount of kick.
05/07/2014
I fabricated this recipe for the first time today when some family came over for dinner. I used just under 8 cups of pasta and added more cheese which was smashing for serving seven adults. It'due south important to brand sure you take the sauce pan at medium heat and maybe even on the higher side when starting to mix the butter and flour so that the following ingredients will thicken properly to create the cheese mixture. If you want to add some actress kick to the bread crumbs try adding i/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper earlier sprinkling them over the dish prior to blistering. Also, I like my mac and cheese a little more well done and so I let it cook for around 40 minutes and it came out gold brown. It was delicious! I fabricated some substitutions and added some ingredients though: I used Dijon mustard instead of dried mustard, and I chopped upwards 3 jalapeno peppers instead of the hot pepper sauce. I added some shredded Swiss cheese and half a chopped onion to it. I added some cayenne pepper and mixed it and the chili pepper into the cheese mix.
